What the website audit checks

Title & meta description

See your actual SEO title and description, with length guidance.

Heading structure

Counts H1–H6 and flags a missing H1 or skipped levels.

Image alt text

Finds images without alt attributes and explains when it matters.

Canonical URL

Detects missing, conflicting or malformed canonical links.

Robots, robots.txt & sitemap

Spots noindex/nofollow and checks robots.txt and sitemap access.

Score & prioritized fixes

A transparent score with plain-English recommendations.

Full Website Audit

Inspect up to 25 pages of the same site, found via your sitemap and internal links.

Broken links & redirects

Confirmed 404s, server errors, redirect chains and loops — unverifiable links are labelled, not guessed.

Duplicates & indexability

Duplicate titles and descriptions, noindex pages, robots.txt blocks and canonical conflicts.

Performance insights

Server response time, HTML size and image hints. Limited server-side observations, not a browser test.

Why audit your website?

Small technical details — a missing description, an accidental noindex, images without alt text — can make your pages harder for search engines and visitors to understand. Many are quick to fix once you know they're there.

  • Catch accidental settings that hide pages from search.
  • Make your search result snippets clearer.
  • Improve accessibility for people using screen readers.
  • Get a simple checklist you or your developer can act on.

Top issues to fix

  1. Page title is short — Expand it to describe what the page offers, ideally 30–60 characters. This is a guideline, not a strict rule.
  2. Missing meta description — Add a meta description that summarizes the page in one or two sentences.
  3. Images without alt text — Add a short, descriptive alt attribute to meaningful images; use alt="" for purely decorative ones.
